This drawing was surely the most interesting illustration I've worked so far.
It was also the first time I've made a decent background.
Since I started to study japanese culture and history, I've wanted to draw a Oiran. For those who don't know, Oiran was the name given to the High-class Courtesans in Yoshiwara (Especially during Edo Period). They're also known for the colorful and elaborated outfits, especially the hairstyles.
